Job description
As a Principal Software Engineer - CoreAI on the Microsoft Playwright team, you will focus on designing and implementing systems that integrate AI capabilities into test automation. This role involves advancing Playwright's infrastructure and tooling to enable intelligent automation. You will collaborate with teams from GitHub and VS Code to enhance testing solutions for developers. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.
- Mentor others to produce extensible and maintainable code used across products.
- Leverage subject-matter expertise of cross-product features to drive project plans and work items.
- Hold accountability as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and mentor engineers across products.
- Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to new trends and technical solutions to improve product performance.
