Job description

As a Forward Deployed Engineer in the Google Cloud AI Go-To-Market organization, you will focus on Generative AI in a customer-facing role. Your primary responsibility is to bridge the gap between AI products and real-world business problems for clients. You will construct rapid prototype applications tailored to various customers, from startups to established companies. This role requires a blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication, with significant collaboration and travel involved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in Python or other programming languages in machine learning.
  • Experience in a client-facing technical role, managing or deploying solutions for customers in the telecommunications industry.
  • Experience in applied AI, focusing on designing and evaluating systems around foundation models.
  • Experience architecting, deploying, or managing solutions on a cloud platform.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business processes and objectives.
  • Design and build end-to-end Generative AI-driven solutions while incorporating the full cloud stack.
  • Develop production-grade prototypes that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Gather real-time feedback and insights from customers to drive product innovation.
  • Lead regional field enablement and engage with product and partner organizations.
