The Customer Quality Specialist role focuses on ensuring that customer expectations are translated into actionable quality requirements within Cummins' business in El Paso, TX. The specialist will lead the resolution of customer quality issues and drive improvements in customer satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration. Requirements
- A college, university, or equivalent degree is required, preferably in Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject.
- Green Belt Certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer expectations into actionable quality requirements.
- Lead resolution of customer quality issues by driving action plans to closure.
- Use customer-centric metrics to prioritize work and deliver measurable improvements.
- Build and maintain productive external relationships with customers.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and identify gaps.
- Champion continuous improvement and Six Sigma initiatives.
- Support execution of Customer Quality strategy and achieve key performance metrics.
- Strengthen cross-functional alignment by coordinating with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams.
