Job description

Microsoft AI is seeking skilled engineers to develop user-facing features for Copilot, leveraging Generative AI technologies. The role requires full ownership of feature development from inception to delivery, ensuring high quality and seamless implementation. Candidates should have experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, and machine learning, and be able to collaborate effectively across teams. The team values positivity, empathy, and effectiveness alongside technical skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline and 4+ years of technical engineering experience building customer-facing applications/products.
  • Experience leveraging generative AI technologies to develop innovative and user-focused product features.
  • 4+ years of experience building APIs and creating pipelines for large-scale products.
  • 4+ years of experience building scalable services on public cloud infrastructure like Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Responsibilities

  • Work on building new AI features that enhance Copilot.
  • Build secure and performant AI Platform services that power Copilot.
  • Collaborate with AI Researchers, Platform, infrastructure, and application engineers to build next generation AI products and services.
  • Ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code.
  • Find a path to get things done despite roadblocks to deliver work quickly and iteratively.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, design-driven, product development cycle.
