Job description

The Education Engineering Manager will lead the Copilot Education team at Microsoft in Mountain View, focusing on developing AI-powered education technology. This role emphasizes managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment and launching impactful consumer-facing products. The ideal candidate will possess strong people management skills and deep technical expertise in both frontend and backend systems. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 8+ years of technical engineering experience is preferred.
  • 5+ years of people management experience is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and make progress in ambiguity.
  • Enjoy working closely with cross-functional partners and teammates in an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, manage, and lead a team of software engineers responsible for delivering high-performance.
  • Drive the development of innovative, consumer-facing AI features such as study and learn modes and quiz generation.
