Job description
The Customer Engineer, Platform role at Google Cloud focuses on partnering with technical sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud offerings to customers. This position involves engaging in technical conversations to understand customer business issues and providing solutions that leverage Google Cloud technology. The role requires a breadth of technical expertise, including infrastructure modernization and application development. As part of a rapidly growing team, you will help customers transform their businesses through cloud technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in technical sales.
- Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
- Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.
- Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify business opportunities and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
- Share enterprise infrastructure modernization expertise to support technical relationships with customers.
- Demonstrate and prototype integrations of Google Cloud products in customer environments.
- Recommend integration strategies and enterprise architectures to implement complete solutions on Google Cloud.
- Build generative AI prototypes and minimum viable products alongside founders in the Bay area.
