Job description

StubHub is seeking a Software Engineer II to join a new mobile engineering team focused on building AI-powered consumer experiences. This team aims to redefine how fans discover and purchase live events through innovative mobile-first interaction models. Engineers will work closely with product, design, backend, and AI teams to bring early-stage initiatives from prototype to production. The role offers high autonomy and the opportunity to influence user engagement and revenue across a global marketplace.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong experience building and shipping production mobile applications for iOS, Android, or cross-platform
  • Experience integrating APIs and backend services into mobile applications
  • Solid understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and performance optimization
  • Experience shipping consumer-facing features at scale
  • Proven ability to take ownership from implementation through production support

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain AI-driven mobile features used by millions of users
  • Develop high-quality mobile experiences using React Native and native platform capabilities
  • Integrate backend and AI services into real-time mobile workflows
  • Contribute to architectural decisions around performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to iterate on early-stage product ideas
  • Participate in rapid experimentation and data-driven iteration cycles
  • Debug production issues and continuously improve mobile system health
