The Process Mechanical Engineer role at Jacobs focuses on water and wastewater projects in Hawaii and the Western United States. • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive process mechanical engineering and project delivery experience with water, wastewater, and/or industrial treatment
• Strong interest in treatment and/or mechanical system design and operation
• Proficient skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Evaluate pumping, treatment, and process options to determine the best approaches to solve client challenges
• Plan and design full-scale pumping and treatment systems, as well as treatment plant improvements for construction
• Develop facility layouts and process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
• Create construction documents, including drawings and specifications
• Conduct data analysis and computer modeling
• Provide technical report writing and support for bidding and permitting services
• Support construction services and perform field inspections of treatment and mechanical equipment
