The Mid-Level Remediation Design Engineer at Jacobs will focus on environmental site remediation for federal and global private sector clients. This role involves collaborating with scientists, engineers, and project managers on various projects across the United States. The engineer will apply their technical expertise to design environmental remedial actions and systems while ensuring safety and compliance. This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing flexibility between office and remote work.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering or a closely related engineering field.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the environmental remediation industry.
• At least 4 years of experience designing environmental remedial actions or remediation systems.
• Experience in writing specifications and preparing design documents.

• Evaluate site conditions and determine data needs for remediation projects.
• Assess remedial alternatives and perform engineering calculations.
• Develop designs and prepare work plans, reports, and design documents.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• Support fieldwork and oversee the gathering of design data when necessary.
