Job description

The Water/Wastewater Engineer position at Jacobs involves working independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams to serve southeast water and wastewater clients. The role focuses on developing engineering evaluations, design concepts, and supporting field engineering activities. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in the field.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification in Florida.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification in Florida is preferred.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary project team.

Responsibilities

  • Work on multi-disciplinary teams to deliver world-class projects.
  • Effectively collaborate with project teams with diverse technical skill sets and geographic locations.
  • Observe and document field and construction activities related to water, wastewater, and facility infrastructure.
  • Build cooperative partnerships between clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Participate in and lead tasks while driving health and safety in all aspects of project execution.
