Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited program in Electrical, Fire Protection, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
  • At least 4 years of experience working with Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) and Life Safety Systems (LSS).
  • Ability to generate complete I&C/LSS design packages with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop instrumentation and fire alarm systems for state-of-the-art facilities.
  • Create electrical circuit and panel designs for control applications.
  • Develop control systems for diverse processes and optimize automation strategies.
  • Ensure technical quality and schedule compliance for complex engineering tasks.
  • Provide on-site support during startup and coordinate activities across disciplines.
