Requirements
- Substantial professional experience in the rail and transit industry with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience with all types of rail and transit vehicle design, maintenance, and operation.
- Strong understanding of technological needs and trends affecting the rail and transit industry.
- Excellent problem-solving, judgment, decision-making, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide rail and vehicle engineering support for consulting assignments involving light rail, medium rail, and advanced rapid transit systems.
- Lead the rail vehicle engineering discipline team and provide expert support on design, integration, and failure analysis.
- Support field implementation and assess the performance of newly furnished fleets and systems.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices that can affect the rail and transit industry.
- Coordinate and develop positive relationships with clients, contractors, and their staff.
