The Civil Engineering Lead – Rail Transit will serve as a vital member of the Hawaii and Northwest team, focusing on a major Honolulu rail transit program. This role involves leading multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with clients to deliver planning, design, and construction support services. The position emphasizes guiding civil scope from concept through close-out while managing complex interfaces across various stakeholders. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Hawaii Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or the ability to obtain it within 6 months.
- 10+ years of relevant civil or transportation engineering experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead civil scope from planning through construction support.
- Proficiency with civil design software such as Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads or Autodesk Civil 3D/AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the civil engineering lead for a major rail transit program in Honolulu.
- Support the Jacobs program management team by coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Guide civil scope from concept through close-out, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Facilitate technical coordination meetings and communicate design decisions clearly.
- Manage multiple concurrent priorities with minimal supervision.
