The Senior Mechanical Engineer position at Jacobs focuses on leading a mechanical engineering team to provide advisory services and engineering design solutions in the energy sector. This role is part of the Energy & Power Solutions team, which is expanding to address the complexities of decarbonization and enhance energy reliability and sustainability. The engineer will mentor junior staff while collaborating with clients to deliver innovative solutions. This hybrid position allows for a mix of remote work and office presence.

• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• At least 10 years of engineering design and/or consulting experience
• Professional Engineering licensure in any US state
• Proven ability to engage with clients and develop relationships
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Availability to travel as required to support project needs

• Lead a mechanical engineering team to provide advisory services and engineering design solutions for clients
• Collaborate with Client Account Managers and sales professionals on strategic pursuits
• Mentor and manage junior and mid-level mechanical engineering staff members
• Engage in business growth strategy and explore new project opportunities
