Job description
The Project Engineer - Design Build role at Jacobs focuses on managing and supervising Design Build projects in the water sector, ranging from $10M to $2B. Based in Denver, Colorado, this position involves collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure the successful delivery of complex water and wastewater treatment facilities. The role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for both office and site-based work. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in an applicable field.
- A minimum of 3 years of specific construction project experience.
- Experience in the delivery of municipal or industrial water, wastewater, water resources, or conveyance type work.
- Working knowledge of construction, building systems, contract management, and project delivery methods.
Responsibilities
- Work with vendors, subcontractors, and Engineering to achieve timely submittal approval.
- Coordinate RFIs to resolution with the assistance of the Engineering team.
- Expedite equipment to ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage the receipt, storage, handling, and installation of process equipment.
- Ensure material and equipment are provided and installed in compliance with contract plans and specifications.
- Coordinate and maintain the schedule associated with responsible scope.
- Manage and maintain as-built drawings and documentation.
- Assist with monthly cost projections for subcontractors and vendors.
- Manage the closeout process for subcontractors and vendors.
- Support project plan implementation for quality, change management, and safety.
