Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License.
  • United States Citizenship.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a corporate engineering environment in an electrical engineering capacity.
  • Strong technical focus in the Architectural Engineering space and/or Medium Voltage Design.
  • Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in Power, Lighting, and low voltage design of various types of commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Design and perform calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
  • Prepare load analysis for different stages of design.
  • Oversee the preparation of drawings detailing system design.
  • Prepare basis of design reports and document energy compliance calculations.
  • Design grounding and lightning protection systems.
  • Select equipment and fixtures for use in buildings.
  • Coordinate with engineers and architects of other disciplines.
  • Facilitate construction administration.
