The Mid-Level Remediation Design Engineer will work with a team of scientists, engineers, and project managers to design environmental remedial actions for federal and private sector clients. This role is based in Irvine, California, and involves both office-based work and field support. The engineer will apply their technical expertise in evaluating site conditions and developing designs while ensuring safety and compliance. This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing flexibility between office and remote work.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the environmental remediation industry.
• At least 4 years of experience designing environmental remedial actions or remediation systems.
• Experience in writing specifications and preparing design documents.

• Evaluate site conditions and determine data needs for remediation projects.
• Assess remedial alternatives and perform engineering calculations.
• Develop designs for environmental remedial actions and remediation systems.
• Prepare work plans, reports, and design documents.
• Collaborate with team members and mentor junior staff.
