• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a preferred focus on Transportation.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin.
• 4–8 years of roadway/highway design experience, specifically with WisDOT projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with experience in Bentley OpenRoads considered a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of WisDOT design standards, state highway specifications, and federal roadway guidelines.

• Prepare highway and roadway designs for WisDOT urban and rural projects, including interchanges and major reconstruction efforts.
• Develop detailed plans, specifications, quantities, cost estimates, and design documentation for state highway projects.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and project managers to deliver complex highway design solutions.
• Participate in quality control reviews and assist with project coordination throughout all design phases.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff.
