The Mechanical Engineer-in-Training position at Jacobs focuses on supporting the NY/NJ Mechanical and Fire Life Safety team in delivering transportation facilities projects. • Higher Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with Revit and AutoCAD
• Preferably possess an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification
• Preferably have a recognized certificate or diploma in BIM or equivalent
• Solid experience in 3D modeling software applications, specifically Revit, BIM 360, and AutoCAD
• Good command of spoken and written English

• Prepare 3D models and CAD drawings using appropriate design criteria and technical manuals
• Work closely with senior engineers under general supervision
• Interface with internal and external contacts for project coordination
• Coordinate with multiple project design disciplines for interference checking and quality control
• Support the BIM manager, BIM coordinator, and senior mechanical designer in BIM implementation on projects
