Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Licensed Professional Engineer with 8 years of experience, or CCM Certification with 10 years of experience
- Substantial field inspection experience
- Substantial supervisory experience
- Knowledge of CTDOT construction policies and procedures
- Basic knowledge of CPM scheduling techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Perform daily project administration and coordination for construction projects
- Lead the inspection staff and review daily inspector reports
- Handle project correspondence and maintain accurate records
- Produce estimates and assist with the change order process
- Review contractor payroll reports and EEO documents
