As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Jacobs in Philadelphia, you will join a team focused on integrated building services design. This role involves managing multiple projects related to power system planning, lighting design, and fire safety systems for various clients, including those in the life sciences and healthcare sectors. You will utilize your expertise to design and analyze electrical systems, ensuring compliance with energy codes and standards. • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
• Professional Engineer license (PE)
• 12+ years of Electrical Engineering experience, particularly in Mission Critical applications
• Experience designing medium-voltage distribution systems and emergency generation
• Proficiency in Revit, 3D CADD, SKM and/or eTap Power Tools, and Bentley BIM
• Knowledge of NFPA Codes and Standards

• Design full low and medium voltage electrical systems, including power, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
• Prepare load analysis for each stage of design and direct a design team in creating detailed project electrical systems drawings.
• Prepare basis of design reports and document project energy compliance to applicable energy codes.
• Select and prepare specifications for electrical equipment and coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines.
• Maintain confidentiality with clients and projects.
