The Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater role at Jacobs involves working on a variety of water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance and treatment planning and design projects. The engineer will support senior engineers and project managers in delivering municipal water projects while fostering personal and professional growth. • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is required.
• At least 3 years of consulting experience for water and wastewater clients is necessary.
• Experience in serving various clients involving drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance systems is essential.
• Demonstrated understanding of water and wastewater conveyance and/or treatment processes and technologies is required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite and experience in AutoCAD and ESRIArcGIS is required.

• Collaborate and work with a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of water, wastewater, and stormwater design projects.
• Participate in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects and tasks.
• Coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians within the local and regional water group.
• Complete civil design calculations for a variety of projects, sketches, technical comparisons, and similar technical work as required.
• Assist in the development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Participate in professional organizations for marketing, industry recognition, networking, and building the Jacobs brand.
