The Senior Stormwater Engineer/Senior Landscape Architect will lead stormwater planning, design, and construction documents for various projects in Oregon and southwestern Washington. This role involves engaging with clients and driving business development while working from the downtown Portland office. The candidate will focus on designing sustainable stormwater infrastructure that meets community needs and adapts to future conditions. Additionally, they will collaborate with regional environmental practices to deliver integrated solutions across the Pacific Northwest.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Landscape Architecture degree.
- 10+ years of experience in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, stormwater design, and watershed modeling.
- Strong experience with CAD design software, specifically AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- PE or PLA license is required.
- Existing relationships and business development experience with clients in Oregon and southwest Washington.
Responsibilities
- Lead stormwater analysis and design, including hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for various projects.
- Develop contract documents, including plans, details, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Communicate designs and technical information to clients, community stakeholders, and permitting agencies.
- Oversee the production of construction plans and drainage reports.
- Mentor early- and mid-career staff while managing design tasks.
