Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of work experience in the job offered or a related Project Engineer occupation.
- Expertise in project management and governance, including budget/cost control and schedule control.
- Experience with capital project management and controlling project schedules using Trimble Unity Construct software.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Capital Request process between the CPS Facilities and CPS Capital Planning and Construction Departments.
- Oversee a high-volume workflow of 1,200+ Capital Requests, ensuring timely resolution and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Capital Planning team to develop short-term and long-term Capital Plans.
- Manage construction renovation projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, leading design and progress meetings to align project scope and expectations.
- Oversee the procurement lifecycle, preparing bid packages and leading pre-bid meetings.
- Lead the bid analysis and contract award process to select qualified contractors.
- Develop and maintain project timelines to ensure milestones are met on time.
- Track budgets, process change orders, and ensure financial accountability throughout project phases.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation to support effective project execution.
