Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • At least 2 years of design, consulting, or operations experience.
  • Experience in instrument specification, PLC or DCS control systems, and SCADA systems.
  • Professional Engineer License or the ability to obtain a PE license within one year.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare specifications and drawings for control systems.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines on large design projects.
  • Perform startup and commissioning activities for control systems.
  • Specify instrumentation such as pressure and flow transmitters and control valves.
  • Drive ownership of health and safety in all aspects of project execution.
