The Water Engineering Intern position at Jacobs focuses on supporting water resources and water/wastewater engineering projects. The intern will work under the guidance of professional engineers, gaining valuable mentorship and experience in the field. This role involves hands-on tasks such as field investigations and water quality testing. The intern will contribute to both local and global projects, helping to address critical water treatment challenges.

• Enrollment in a degree-seeking program in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must live within a commutable distance from the office.
• Previous intern experience with a consulting or engineering firm is preferred.
• EIT or on track to obtain is a plus.

• Assist with field investigations and water quality testing on water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Conduct water treatment facility pilots and desktop treatment analysis.
• Evaluate and assist in the design and commissioning of water treatment projects.
• Collaborate with team members to support project delivery for clients.
