The Senior Civil Engineer role at Jacobs involves leading civil engineering teams through various project phases, from concept design to construction. • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an ABET accredited engineering school.
• At least 8+ years of applicable professional experience.
• Professional Engineering license in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering preferred.
• Advanced knowledge in design processes, construction documentation, and building codes.
• Experience with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES).
• Proficiency in storm drainage and stormwater management modeling.

• Lead civil engineering teams from concept design through construction.
• Provide civil engineering input to architecture subject matter experts.
• Coordinate with architecture and other engineering disciplines.
• Assist with permitting efforts and construction activities.
• Perform construction administration activities including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
• Supervise the work of other design professionals.
