Job description

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis.
  • Professional Engineering Registration (P.E.) or ability to obtain.
  • 7-15 years of relevant professional experience for infrastructure and building-related design projects.
  • Ability to perform as a lead structural engineer.
  • Experience working in a multi-discipline team with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Construction support services experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design for a wide range of projects locally, nationally, and globally.
  • Engage in design efforts for manufacturing, education, healthcare facilities, and data centers.
  • Conduct planning studies and produce technical writing, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients, general contractors, and trade partners to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Support project delivery strategies including design/bid/build and design build.
