The Lead Instrumentation and Controls Engineer will work in a hybrid setup across various locations including Conshohocken, PA, Cincinnati, OH, Cary, NC, and Indianapolis, IN. This role focuses on delivering high-quality engineering solutions for industrial and commercial facilities, particularly in the life sciences sector. The engineer will lead a multi-discipline team, ensuring technical quality and adherence to schedules while mentoring junior professionals. The position emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and the application of advanced engineering principles to meet client needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering from an accredited university or college.
- 7+ years of experience as an instrumentation and control design engineer for industrial private-sector clients.
- Experience in design, testing, and startup of industrial process automation systems.
- Knowledge of UL508A requirements for industrial control panels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
- Provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff members.
- Produce designs for electrical circuits and panels utilizing control applications.
- Develop options and optimizations for process control, instrumentation, and automation.
- Mentor other professionals and help them discover their purpose.
