The Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern position at Jacobs offers a unique opportunity to work with a team focused on innovative solutions for water and wastewater treatment projects. As part of the Gainesville team, interns will engage in various tasks related to planning, design, and construction phases of projects. This role emphasizes collaboration within multi-discipline teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. Interns will also gain hands-on experience observing and documenting field activities related to water and sewer infrastructure.

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
• Must be at least a rising Junior
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro is a plus
• Interest in a career in Water/Wastewater engineering

• Perform a variety of potable water and wastewater treatment work
• Participate in planning, design, and construction phases of projects
• Observe and document field and construction activities related to water and sewer pipeline infrastructure
• Participate in evaluations of water and wastewater treatment processes
