The Senior Structural Engineer will be part of the Advanced Manufacturing team, focusing on projects related to Data Centers, including new builds and retrofits. This role requires collaboration with a diverse team of engineers and designers to ensure successful project delivery. The engineer will utilize their expertise in structural engineering to perform various analyses and create computer models. Additionally, there will be opportunities for professional growth and leadership within the organization.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 8 or more years of professional experience in structural engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer with the ability to become registered in additional states
• Knowledge of CAD software, such as AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD
• Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other industry relevant design codes and standards
• Proficiency with MS Office suite software including MS Teams for remote coordination
• Ability for travel to various client’s sites (approx. 10% to 20% travel)

• Perform a variety of structural engineering analyses and calculations.
• Create computer models for structures and prepare material take-offs for estimating.
• Assist with project schedules and prepare miscellaneous calculations.
• Liaise with internal professionals and design departments for project delivery.
• Coordinate designs with other Jacobs offices both domestically and internationally.
