Requirements

- At least 4-5 years of experience in a corporate engineering environment in an electrical engineering capacity.
- Strong technical focus in the Architectural Engineering space and/or Medium Voltage Design.
- Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in the Power, Lighting, and low voltage design of various types of commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Design and perform calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
- Prepare load analysis for different stages of design.
- Oversee the preparation of drawings detailing system design.
- Prepare basis of design reports and document energy compliance calculations.
- Design grounding and lightning protection systems.
- Design redundant electrical systems and mitigate hazardous area concerns.
- Select equipment and fixtures for use in the building.
- Coordinate with engineers and architects of other disciplines.
- Facilitate construction administration.
