Job description
The Senior Water/Wastewater Conveyance Engineer will lead projects focused on water and wastewater conveyance improvements in the Holladay, Utah office. This role involves working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions for major water districts and municipalities. The engineer will utilize their expertise to manage client relationships and ensure project excellence. Additionally, they will mentor junior engineers and contribute to advancing best practices in conveyance engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering; MS preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater conveyance design and project delivery.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing client relationships.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu, and hydraulic modeling software.
- Familiarity with GIS tools, Bentley MicroStation, Revit, and Navisworks.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical lead and project manager for water and wastewater conveyance improvements.
- Direct trenchless pipe design, condition assessment, and pipeline rehabilitation strategies.
- Oversee development of engineering drawings and specifications for various systems.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Engage directly with clients to define project scope and manage budgets and schedules.
- Provide oversight during construction, permitting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers.
