Job description

The Entry Level Civil Engineer position at Jacobs is designed for recent graduates who are eager to support the federal team in a hybrid work environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office suite
  • At least one relevant internship with a government agency, municipality, corporate engineering, or consulting firm
  • United States Citizenship
  • Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate

Responsibilities

  • Support the federal team in civil engineering projects in a hybrid capacity.
  • Develop site plans, utility plans, and grading plans to meet Federal design standards.
  • Perform watershed analyses and design stormwater management systems.
  • Prepare engineering assessments, calculations, and basis of design reports.
  • Coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians.
