Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer License (PE)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Structural engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
Responsibilities
- Perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering and analysis under general supervision.
- Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques.
- Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control by checking your own work and that of others.
- Manage workload effectively, making and keeping commitments while taking full ownership of assigned work.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers.
- Lead a team of Structural Engineers and Designers in the development of calculations, specifications, and construction drawings.
