Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills
  • Registered Professional Engineer
  • Experience with airfield lighting and power distribution
  • Knowledge of Computer-Aided Drafting and Engineering (CAD/CAE)
  • United States Citizenship

Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning-level aviation assignments
  • Perform electrical engineering design including computer modeling, calculations, and reporting
  • Prepare specifications and perform plan set production for airfield projects
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other aviation design professionals and disciplines as part of a cohesive design team
  • Perform bid-phase and construction-phase services such as answering requests for information and reviewing shop drawings
  • Attend site visits to perform engineering services including construction quality and acceptance testing
  • Attend and participate in design team and client meetings
  • Attend industry-level training and collaboration events
