The Construction Manager/Resident Engineer will be based in Irvine, California, focusing on transportation projects, particularly zero emission bus and facility infrastructure. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of proven experience in Construction Management and civil inspection on County Public Work projects.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, plans, specifications, and associated safety requirements.
  • Current and valid registration as a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California.
  • Experience with projects utilizing alternative project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day activities on construction projects.
  • Manage change, safety, quality assurance, scheduling, estimating, and price negotiations.
  • Develop and deliver project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules.
  • Support clients on multiple capital projects.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and contractors to tackle project challenges.
