The Facilities Electrical Engineering Owner’s Representative will play a crucial role in delivering semiconductor manufacturing projects in Boise, Idaho. This position involves acting as the technical owner for electrical scope during the Tool Installation phase of manufacturing equipment. The representative will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and key stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. The focus will be on providing engineering and design oversight for electrical installations and ensuring compliance with client requirements and applicable codes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards.
- Experience selecting and specifying electrical equipment and systems.
- Proven ability to review vendor submittals against contractual and technical requirements.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and design oversight during the installation of semiconductor manufacturing tools.
- Review and influence electrical designs related to final power, grounding, and low-voltage system connections.
- Develop and review technical specifications for tool installation.
- Review vendor submittals and design deliverables to ensure compliance with client requirements and applicable codes.
- Collaborate closely with facilities, construction, vendors, and internal project teams to ensure successful execution.
