The Facilities Instrumentation Engineering Owner’s Representative will play a crucial role in delivering advanced semiconductor manufacturing projects in Boise, ID. This position involves acting as the technical owner for Instrumentation and Controls during the Tool Installation phase. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and key stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. This role focuses on providing engineering oversight and ensuring compliance with design specifications and codes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an associated degree in mechanical or chemical from an ABET accredited university.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering design of industrial control systems.
- Strong knowledge of International Fire Code (IFC), International Mechanical Code (IMC), UL, and IEEE standards.
- Experience selecting and specifying electrical and controls equipment and systems.
- Proven ability to review vendor submittal against contractual and technical requirements.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and design oversight during installation of semiconductor manufacturing tools.
- Review and influence instrumentation and controls designs related to factory control systems, fire alarms, chemical controls, and TGM systems.
- Develop and review technical specifications for tool installation.
- Review vendor submittals and design deliverables to ensure compliance with client requirements and applicable codes.
- Collaborate closely with facilities, construction, vendors, and internal project teams to ensure successful execution.
