Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 5 years of engineering experience in building electrical systems
  • Experience with power system software, preferably ETAP
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards
  • Understanding of electrical power system equipment and components, such as switchgears and transformers
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks
  • Gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule for assigned tasks
  • Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly
  • Provide assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff members
  • Produce installation details, motor control center single lines, and electric room layouts
  • Create connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts, and grounding designs
