The Entry Level Structural Engineering Graduate position at Jacobs is designed for recent graduates looking to start their careers in structural engineering. As a member of the Built Environment team in Philadelphia, you will collaborate with experienced engineers and multi-discipline design teams on innovative projects. The role focuses on providing award-winning planning, engineering, and architectural design services. You will have opportunities to develop your skills and contribute to the design of state-of-the-art structures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills
- A 3.0 GPA is preferred
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is a plus
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is desirable
- Experience with commercial Structural Engineering software such as RAM, STAAD, RISA, and SAP is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Support the Built Environment team in designing and engineering structural projects
- Collaborate with Senior Structural Engineers and multi-discipline design teams
- Engage in challenging projects that enhance professional growth
- Assist in the execution of construction management and design-build project delivery
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for clients
