Job description

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer License (PE)
  • At least 10 years of experience in Structural engineering
  • Experience with US building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI and AISC
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience leading small teams

Responsibilities

  • Perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design with little or no supervision.
  • Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques.
  • Exercise sound engineering judgment and problem-solving skills, seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control in your work.
  • Manage workload effectively, meeting schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers.
  • Embrace emerging technologies and advance workflows within the structural discipline.
