Job description

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer License (PE)
  • At least 4 years of experience in Structural engineering
  • Experience with US building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI and AISC
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design with little or no supervision.
  • Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques.
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control by checking your own work and that of others.
  • Manage workload effectively, making and keeping commitments while taking full ownership of assigned work.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers.
  • Embrace emerging technologies and proactively advance workflows, systems, and tools within the structural discipline.
