Job description

As a Structural Engineering Professional in the NW Region, you will play a crucial role in the design team, focusing on structural analysis and design for advanced manufacturing projects. You will collaborate closely with other engineers and designers, ensuring that structural requirements are effectively communicated and integrated into project models. The position requires a solid foundation in Structural Engineering principles and the ability to manage workload while maintaining high-quality standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer License (PE or PEng)
  • At least 10 years of Structural Engineering experience
  • Experience with US building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
  • Experience with Structural Engineering analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design under general supervision.
  • Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques.
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control by checking your own work and that of others.
  • Manage workload effectively, making and keeping commitments while taking full ownership of assigned work.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers.
  • Embrace emerging technologies and proactively advance workflows within the structural discipline.
