Job description

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
  • At least 2 years of Structural Engineering experience
  • Experience with US building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design under general supervision.
  • Develop engineering judgement and problem-solving skills while seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control in all work.
  • Manage workload effectively, ensuring commitments are met and taking ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Identify scope changes and escalate them to the Structural Lead when necessary.
