The Bloomberg Intelligence Technology Equity Research Analyst will focus on the technology sector, particularly in cybersecurity. This role involves conducting in-depth research on companies to assist investors in evaluating their financial performance. The analyst will collaborate with the global tech team to provide insights into emerging technologies and market trends. The position requires a strong understanding of financial modeling and the ability to communicate findings effectively.

• 4+ years of experience with an advanced degree in a technology area.
• Experience interpreting financial statements and financial modeling.
• Knowledge of advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of finance and accounting.
• Exceptional primary research and writing skills.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance financial analysis, earnings review, document synthesis, or thematic research.
• Strong organization skills, and capable of handling multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and other Asian languages for regional and China market coverage.

• Leverage knowledge of cybersecurity companies to create industry and company investment research regularly.
• Build a bottom-up financial model leveraging Bloomberg data for company primer initiation.
• Monitor, interpret, and react to major company developments, identifying macro themes and trends affecting investments.
• Work closely with the global Tech coverage manager to coordinate and collaborate on analysis.
• Develop and maintain relationships with investors, industry professionals, and senior management at target companies.
• Participate and initiate marketing events like webinars, round-tables, and conferences to commercialize research ideas.
• Work with Global Data teams to ensure data completeness and quality control for existing and new data sets.
