The Senior Software Engineer role in the Public Cloud IAM and Org Management team focuses on building scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions to enable cloud adoption at Bloomberg. The team is responsible for creating self-serving solutions with control mechanisms to meet business needs efficiently. The position involves working closely with clients and external teams to drive products that emphasize cost, security, and resilience. Candidates will have the opportunity to make impactful decisions regarding problem-solving and cloud security tooling.

• 4+ years of programming experience with Python
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field of study or equivalent work experience
• Experience working on solutions in one of the leading public cloud providers, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience working with access control services and organization policy management such as IAM roles and service control policies
• Proficiency and experience in provisioning and building infrastructure as code using Terraform

• Understand security principles and control mechanisms in public cloud technologies
• Build automation and self-service tools to meet user needs
• Evaluate and propose enterprise-level solutions to problems
• Drive products focusing on cost, security, and resilience in a centralized manner
