The Senior Software Engineer role focuses on reimagining and rebuilding Bloomberg's Enterprise Trading Network (ETN) using advanced technologies. The team is responsible for driving the architecture of Bloomberg's FIX network products, which connect buy-side execution and order management systems to trading networks. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where contributions directly impact global financial markets. The engineer will help shape the future infrastructure for low-latency and high-throughput trading products.

• A robust knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, and interprocess communication.
• 5+ years of professional experience in one or more general purpose programming languages, preferably C++ and Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• BA, BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technology field.
