The Senior Software Engineer - Integration role at Bloomberg focuses on leading the C# and .NET strategy within the Connectivity & Integration (BCI) group. The team is responsible for developing the Transformation Engine, a critical component of the Integration Platform that enables data processing between Bloomberg and third-party systems. This position requires deep expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem, as well as experience with distributed systems. The engineer will work collaboratively with a team of eight, contributing to both legacy and next-generation architectures.

• 4+ years of experience in software development with deep expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of C# internals, including threading, async/await patterns, performance profiling, and diagnostics.
• Experience working with distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
• Hands-on experience migrating codebases from .NET Framework to .NET is a plus.
• Experience with front-end development using WPF and/or React is a plus.

• Own the C# and .NET strategy and contribute across everything the team builds.
• Be the subject matter expert on C# architecture, stability, performance, and scaling.
• Lead the team's technical strategy around .NET best practices and development lifecycle.
• Design and implement feature and performance enhancements for the products.
• Participate in the team’s on-call rotations for incident response and business-hours support.
