The Water Process Mechanical Engineer role at Jacobs focuses on providing innovative solutions to municipal clients' water and wastewater challenges. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a related engineering field from an accredited university or college.
- 5+ years of experience specific to municipal water and/or wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficient skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivation and strong data analysis skills.
Responsibilities
- Design water and wastewater pump stations and treatment facilities.
- Conduct pipe sizing calculations and select appropriate pump types.
- Develop facility layouts and construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Perform water and wastewater process modeling and design calculations.
- Provide construction services support and conduct field inspections of mechanical equipment.
